Dulux Trade All Purpose Primer is a great general-purpose primer. Solvent-based and suitable for most surfaces including wood, metal and masonry both interior and exterior, it is always useful to have this in your kit.
It generally requires only one coat, is re-coatable after 6 hours, and has a coverage of 7-11m2/L. If you are painting highly resinous wood, you may want to consider picking up another product from this range, such as Dulux Trade Aluminium Wood Primer.
Applying Dulux Trade All Purpose Primer
For best results apply 1 coat using a brush or roller. If painting over a badly rusted metal surface, clean as much of the rust off as possible before applying 2 coats of undercoat. Finish with your chosen Dulux Trade topcoat.
