Macpherson Trade Durable Acrylic Matt is a hardwearing emulsion for interior walls and ceilings, specially formulated to allow scuffs and stains to be easily washed away without damaging the finish or colour. With built-in stain and moisture resistance, keeping walls looking cleaner for longer, we recommend using this emulsion in busy areas like hallways or kids playrooms. It's also great in bathrooms and kitchens thanks to its washable, moisture-resistant formula.

A tough, water-based emulsion, this durable acrylic matt paint is low odour and low VOC. Available in hundreds of colours including colour matching to designer brands, RAL and BSC.

Applying Macpherson Trade Durable Acrylic Matt

For best results, apply 2 coats using a brush, roller or spray to a clean, dry surface. Allow up to 4 hours between coats and if painting a porous surface, apply a mist coat of Macpherson Trade Durable Acrylic Matt thinned by 40% with clean water. If painting a powdery surface, apply a Universal Primer first before applying 2 top coats of Macpherson Trade Durable Acrylic Matt.

Customer Questions
I'm looking for a durable flat matt. Does this have much of a sheen?

Macpherson Durable Matt is a low sheen, matt finish. For a full dead flat that can be scrubbed clean, we'd recommend Paint and Paper Library Architects Matt or Farrow and Ball Dead Flat.

How many windows and doors are there in the area you want to paint?

This is based on a coverage of 10m² per litre of paint and one coat of paint.

Make sure you always check the coverage on the product page before purchasing and, if covering a dark or bright colour, you may need two or three coats.
