Sadolin Superdec Gloss is a water based, highly durable opaque finish wood protection for exterior wood, weathered plastic, steel, cladding, concrete, masonry, and exterior doors and windows. A flexible coating that resists cracking, peeling and flaking, it is an easy to apply tinted coating that brings weathered or uneven surfaces back to life and adds colour to brand new surfaces.

It is self-priming and works as an undercoat, so there’s usually no need to get a separate product. It can be applied to new and previously painted or stained surfaces. Depending on how liberal you are with the stain, you can average between 10-15 sq. m per litre. If you’re opting for one of the lighter tones, especially anything off white, it is advisable to use a blocking primer to prevent discolouration.

Applying Sadolin Superdec Gloss

Sadolin Superdec should be applied in a full flowing coat ensuring all surfaces and end grains are fully coated. For best results use a good quality brush to apply 3 coats paying special attention to end grain, tops and bottoms of doors, and undersides of sills. Allow a minimum of 16-24 hours drying between coats.

How many windows and doors are there in the area you want to paint?

This is based on a coverage of 10m² per litre of paint and one coat of paint.

Make sure you always check the coverage on the product page before purchasing and, if covering a dark or bright colour, you may need two or three coats.
