The unique formulation contained within the Dulux Trade Pyroshield line upgrades surfaces from fire classification Class 3 to Class 0. It works by cutting the fuel part of the “combustion triangle” (heat, fuel, oxygen). When contact with fire occurs, heat causes Dulux Trade Pyroshield to release a fire-retardant gas, which in turn curbs the flames at their source.
Apart from its fire-retardant properties, Dulux Trade Pyroshield Durable Matt is a great looking cover for interior walls and ceilings in areas with moderate fire risk. The mid sheen, smooth velvety look of Dulux Matt Emulsion is great to hide imperfections on less-than-perfect surfaces.
