Johnstone's Acrylic Satin is a premium acrylic satin paint with a low VOC and a smooth mid sheen finish. Perfect for interior and exterior use, it is best suited to wood and smoothed metal surfaces. This washable, durable product should be applied with a trade quality brush, which can be found in The Paint Shed’s accessories section, after thinning with a small amount of water.

As a water-based satin as opposed to solvent based alternatives, this is a low odour option that works well in busy areas of the home, such as the kitchen and living area. If applied correctly, with the necessary Johnstone’s primer undercoat, this tough highly pigmented paint is non-yellowing, ensuring your finished look stays whiter for longer. If painting over previously painted surfaces, no primer is needed. Protect your woods and metals with Johnstone’s scratch and scuff resistant satin acrylic paint.

Available in white and a range of other colours at The Paint Shed, each pot covers on average up to 12sq/m per litre and dries within 4-8 hours.

How many windows and doors are there in the area you want to paint?

This is based on a coverage of 10m² per litre of paint and one coat of paint.

Make sure you always check the coverage on the product page before purchasing and, if covering a dark or bright colour, you may need two or three coats.
