I have a cement outside retaining wall which I paint yearly with masonary paint. Unfortunately it gets very damp and the paint peels off very quickly. Is there a waterproof undercoat I can use to help the paint last longer?
The only way to prevent the damp from returning and impacting the paint coating is to solve the damp problem with a full damp course.
