Weathershield All Seasons Smooth Masonry from Dulux Trade is a flexible, smooth, solvent-based masonry paint ideal for use all-year round on exterior walls. Based on patented AkzoNobel technology, it gives up to 15 years lasting protection and is particularly suitable for use in difficult climates. Its unique NAD technology results in quick drying and recoat times, even in very cold conditions and enables it to withstand rainfall within 15 minutes of application. Easy to apply, with excellent opacity, it contains a fungicide to inhibit mould growth on the paint film and is not prone to yellowing.

The spreading capacity of this product will vary considerably according to the roughness and porosity of the surface. On smooth surfaces of low porosity (such as rendering): 14-16m2 per litre. On textured surfaces of low porosity (such as pebble-dash): 4-6m2 per litre.

These figures are only an approximate guide due to the variation of different building surfaces and may be reduced. If in doubt, apply a small trial area.

Customer Questions
Hi. This is to paint exterior boundary wall ( brick & rendered 8 years ago). Looking for durable paint option. Do I require primer etc? Treat any fine cracks?

Dulux Trade Weathershield All Seasons Smooth Masonry is a durable option for boundary walls. We recommend that for best results you treat the surface with Dulux Trade Weatherhshield Multi Surface Fungicidal Wash first to remove any mould, lichens, algae and moss. Fill any cracks or defects with a suitable filler, we suggest Toupret Masonry Repair

You shouldn't need a separate primer, instead seal the surface with a thinned first coat of Weathershield All Seasons Smooth Masonry (add up to 1 part white spirit to 10 parts paint). If the wall isn't in good condition, you can use Dulux Trade Weathershield Stabilising Primer instead before applying the paint.

Unfortunately the All Seasons Masonry is out of stock at the moment but we recommend Dulux Trade Weathershield Smooth Masonry as an alternative. It provides 15 years of protection and is a dependable, durable option.

How many windows and doors are there in the area you want to paint?

This is based on a coverage of 10m² per litre of paint and one coat of paint.

Make sure you always check the coverage on the product page before purchasing and, if covering a dark or bright colour, you may need two or three coats.
