Zinsser Allcoat Exterior Water Based Gloss Black

Zinsser Allcoat Exterior Gloss is a high performance exterior gloss paint suitable for all outside wood, metal, masonry, plastic, concrete and cladding. It forms a breathable, low maintenance, water-shedding coating that is touch dry in 30 minutes and recoatable in 1 hour. A mould resistant gloss paint that offers supreme protection to all exterior surfaces, it also contains a biocide to protect the dried surface against fungal degradation.

Zinsser Allcoat Exterior Gloss provides excellent resistance against cracking, blistering and flaking. The tough finish is resistant to rain and severe weather and offers excellent colour retention. It can even be applied to previously painted surfaces without sanding, over glossy paints or surfaces coated with bitumen, tar varnish or creosote.

Also available in white and a wide range of tinted colours.

Preparation and Application

Allcoat couldn’t be easier to apply, simply remove any existing mould or mildew and apply two coats with a brush, roller or spray. No need to prime, Zinsser Allcoat is self-priming on most surfaces. The first coat primes and seals the surface, providing a base for the top coat. The top coat completes the sealing process while providing additional moisture resistance and protection.

If you are painting bare ferrous metal, prime with Zinsser Coverstain and abrade and degrease unweathered powder coatings before painting.
