Benjamin Moore Advance Waterborne Interior Alkyd is a premium quality alkyd enamel that offers the application and performance of a traditional solvent-based paint but in a water-based formula that cleans up with soap and water. This furniture-grade paint is a 100% water-dispersible alkyd, with low VOCs and low odour. It flows and levels like a traditional solvent-based alkyd with the extended open time required to achieve a high-end finish. Ideal for interior walls, doors, trim, cabinets and ceilings and for primed or previously painted wallboard, plaster, masonry, wood and metal surfaces.

Available in almost 3,500 Benjamin Moore colours including the ever-popular White Dove, Chantilly Lace and Hale Navy.

Benjamin Moore Advance Waterborne Interior Alkyd is self-priming on most surfaces so it's likely that no primer will be required but if you could call us on 03333 202 369 we can find out more about your project and confirm.
Do I need to sand down previous banisters and skirting boards if I use your best paint that you can suggest please.
Yes, To use the Benjamin Moore Advance Waterborne Interior Alkyd you should remove any peeling or scaling paint and sand these areas to feather edges smooth with adjacent surfaces
Does Benjamin Moore advance waterborne interior Alkyd paint require a primer on previously stained only wooden interior doors
No, The Benjamin Moore Advance Waterborne Interior Alkyd is a self priming product. We do recommend doing a patch test before applying.

How many windows and doors are there in the area you want to paint?

This is based on a coverage of 10m² per litre of paint and one coat of paint.

Make sure you always check the coverage on the product page before purchasing and, if covering a dark or bright colour, you may need two or three coats.
