RecommendedPrior to painting a garage floor, ensure everything is removed from the floor allowing you to easily clean the surface to remove any debris, dirt, old paint etc. Once your floor has been cleaned and left to throughly dry, only after this should you consider applying your paint. If you are painting a new surface that hasn't previously been painted, if you opt for Coo-Var we suggesr you apply a sealer first before applying 2 topcoats for maximum protection & durability. Alternatively, if you are painting a previously painted floor, apply 2 topcoats directly to the original paint. For best results, allow your paint to dry for 48 hours before subjecting this to any heavy traffic. Your garage floor paint will typically be fully cured after 5-7 days.
