Coo-Var Floor Paint

Coo-var Floor Paint is a durable and versatile single-pack floor coating for interior and exterior use. Available in a range of pre-mixed colours, this semi-gloss coating enhances and protects floors, walls, and other surfaces in both residential and commercial settings. Suitable for wood, metal, concrete, and glass-reinforced plastic, it’s ideal for homes, workplaces, and industrial environments.

Designed for application on floors, walls, ledges, and stairways, it offers strong resistance against dirt, grime, oil, dust, and some solvents. However, it is not suitable for asphalt, bituminous surfaces, or thermoplastic floor tiles.

With a quick drying time, it becomes touch-dry in just a few hours and reaches full hardness in 5 to 7 days, ensuring a long-lasting, easy-to-clean finish.

Applying Coo-Var Floor Paint

Proper surface preparation is key to a long-lasting finish. For concrete surfaces, roughening may be needed to ensure strong adhesion—this can be done mechanically or with an acid etch. Previously painted surfaces should be cleaned, degreased, and sanded to create a suitable key for the new coating. Always follow the recommended overcoating times for the best results.

Before use, mix thoroughly and apply with a brush or roller for even coverage. Ensure the correct temperature and humidity levels during application, and maintain good ventilation, especially in enclosed spaces.
