Blackfriar Anti-Slip Floor Paint is a tough, durable and high opacity floor coating for use in domestic or light industrial settings. Containing special aggregates for outstanding slip resistance, this dependable floor paint is suitable for indoor and outdoor use on concrete, cement, wood, metal and stone surfaces.

Applying Blackfriar Anti-Slip Floor Paint 

For best results apply to a clean, dry floor free from grease, dust or dirt. If painting new surfaces, apply a sealer first before applying 2 topcoats and if painting previously painted floors, happy 2 topcoats directly. Work the paint into any surface imperfections. Allow to dry for 48 hours before subjecting to any heavy traffic. Full cure will be achieved after 5-7 days at 20 degrees celsius.

what size of tin is this ?
We offer Blackfriar Anti-Slip Floor Paint in 1L, 2.5L or 5L tins.
How long does it take to dry ?
Blackfriar Anti-Slip Floor Paint dries in between 4-6 hours.
Can this be used on a drive way with cars driving on and off?

Blackfriar Anti-Slip Floor Paint is ideal for light industrial and domestic floors indoors or outdoors so it is suitable for a driveway. If the driveway has high traffic, we would suggest Teamac Industrial Floor Paint.

Is Blackfriar Anti-Slip Floor Paint suitable for resin shower floors?

No, we wouldn't recommend Blackfriar Anti-Slip Floor Paint for resin shower floors. Instead try Tikkurila Betolux Akva after applying Tikkurila Otex Adhesion Primer.

Can this be used in a kitchen over lino tiles

Is this suitable to paint over ceramic floor tiles?
We wouldn't recommend painting ceramic floor tile without a specialist floor primer suitable for ceramic tiles which we, unfortunately, don't stock but if you can give us a call on 03333 202 369 we can give more detailed advice with a little more information.

How long do I have to leave it to dry before I park my car on it?
Blackfriar Anti-Slip Floor Paint would have to be left for over a week to allow the paint to fully cure.
Can you use this on decking? And decking that has previously been painted?
No, The Blackfriar Anti-Slip Floor Paint can not be applied to previously painted decking
Do I have to apply sealer on top of paint? Also, on concrete which has sealer on, can I paint straight onto that?

How long till you can walk on it after painting

Is this a 2 part mix paint? ie, Does it require an activator?
No, The Blackfriar Anti-Slip Floor Paint is not a 2 part Mix paint.
So I have used blackfriar anti slip paint on my laminate flooring in the bathroom. I primed the floor first as they told me to do and then put the anti slip paint on top, but its taking a while to set. It's been a full day and still sticky to the touch. What can I do to speed up the process or have I made a mistake doing this? If so how do I rectify it.
The Blackfriar Anti-Slip Floor Paint can take up to a week to cure.
