    Macpherson Trade Floor Paint is a decorative and hardwearing floor paint for interior concrete floors in warehouses, shops and showrooms. Suitable for interior use only, this solvent-based floor paint is easy to apply and dries to a soft satin finish.

    Available in hundreds of colours including RAL and BSC.

    Apply 2 coats using a brush or roller maintaining a wet edge and and leaving no longer than 48 hours between coats. Ensure the surface is clean and dry, free from any debris, dirt, oil or grease before applying.

    I am looking for a hard-wearing floor paint for the exterior concrete floor (back yard). Can you tell me if Macpherson floor paint is suitable? I have read that paint should include Epoxy, does this included this? If not can you recommend one that does?

    MacPherson Trade Floor Paint wouldn't be suitable for your project as this is designed for interior floors only. We would recommend Teamac or Blackfriar floor paints for a hard-wearing exterior concrete floor.

    Epoxy paints are hard cured floor paints but again these are for indoor flooring and usually are for very high traffic areas or areas subject to machinery such as forklifts.

    I'm looking for hard wearing paint for interior wooden stairs. Would MacPherson trade floor paint be suitable for this
    Macpherson Trade Floor Paint would be perfect for interior wooden stairs, it's a hard-wearing floor paint that is easy to apply and offers a long-lasting finish.
    I want to paint my concrete workshop floor. Does the floor need to have a self levelling screed applied first to give a good surface and secondly how many coats would be required?
    We recommend 1-2 coats of Macpherson Trade Floor Paint for best results. A screed isn't required to achieve a good paint finish but the paint won't level any uneven areas so if a level finish is required, apply the screed first before painting.
    I have a fresh screed on an interior floor. Is anything needed to be applied to the screed before the MacPherson Floor Paint Tinted Colours. Also how long before I can walk on the finished Floor Paint.
    There is no need to apply anything to the screed once it is fully dry, Macpherson Trade Floor Paint can be applied directly and can be walked on after 16-24 hours once fully dried.
    I have water based polyurethane paint on a stone staircase can i wash down a coat directly with Macpherson Trade Floor Paint paint or do I need a primer?
    Macpherson Trade Floor Paint doesn't require a primer but we recommend gently sanding to create a key.
    Can you use this floor paint on wooden floors or is it only for concrete
