Apply generously using a wide brush in random brush stroke patterns to create a unique, rust effect.

The Craig and Rose Rust Effect Paint creates an industrial, tactile finish to interior walls, plant pots and accessories. Part of a two step process, apply the Craig and Rose Artisan Rust Effect Paint with the Rust Activator and watch as the oxidization process occurs leaving a natural, earthy rusted iron finish.

Applying Craig and Rose Rust Effect Paint

Brush around the edges of the wall and then apply 2 generous coats of Artisan Rust Effect paint with a wide brush allowing the first coat to fully dry before recoating. Rust Effect paint is best applied in random brush strokes. Allow both coats to dry for 12 hours before applying Artisan Rust Activator Solution.

Please note this paint will look matt black when applied before the application of the Rust Activator Solution.

Yes, Craig and Rose Artisan Rust Effect Paint can be used on garden ornaments and accessories. To use this paint on a wall we would recommend that you brush the wall down and paint a coat of water based masonry paint before applying the Artisan paint.
Is this ok to paint onto a plasterboard wall or artex?
Yes, The Craig and Rose Artisan Rust Effect Paint. The Rust Effect system brings downtown cool to your feature walls and creates a centrepiece out of garden ornaments and accessories.
Is this paint suitable for a front door that is situated inside a porch?
No, The Craig and Rose Artisan Rust Effect Paint would not be suitable

No, We would not recommend the Craig and Rose Artisan Rust Effect Paint for this project
Would the paint be suitable for bathrooms?
Yes Craig and Rose Artisan Rust Effect Paint can be used in the bathroom however may need re coated over time due to condensation.

Can I paint a radiator
No, Craig and Rose Artisan Rust Effect Paint is not suitable for this project. This is a decorative paint and not designed to with stand heat.
Can this be used on a tanilised wooden gazebo? So exposed to the elements?
Yes you can however this will not withstand the elements and may need reapplied often.
