Will Crown Trade All Purpose Primer PX4 White stop mould
Crown Trade PX4 won't stop mould but it will block stains created by mould. For best results treat the area with a fungicidal wash before coating with the primer.
Can I use this to paint straight on to previously glossed skirtings or do I need to sand them?
You can apply Crown Trade All Purpose Primer PX4 White to previously painted surfaces including glossy surfaces.
Would you recommend using an undercoat following this product and if so what undercoat would you recommend?
No undercoat should be required after using Crown Trade All Purpose Primer PX4 White as this is an all-purpose primer.
Can this material be used on top of a laminated surface
Yes, you can apply Crown Trade All Purpose Primer PX4 White to laminate surfaces.

Yes Crown Trade All Purpose Primer PX4 White is suitable, however a small trial test area is recommended over severely stained or suspect surfaces.
Can you use silk emulsion over the top of this primer

Is this suitable to cover resinous knots on a log cabin if used with sadolin as a top coat
Crown Trade All Purpose Primer PX4 is not suitable for resinous knots. Sadolin advise not to use a knotting agent. We would advise washing the knots in methylated spirits to degrease and remove any residue before applying your top coat of Sadolin.
