Customer Questions
How to remove CT1 sealant?

The easiest way to remove CT1 sealant and adhesive is by spraying CT multisolve, if you leave it a few minutes to work its magic all you'll need to remove the sealant is a Stanley knife.

How to use CT1 sealant?

If you've never used CT1 sealant and adhesive before, do not worry. This product offers an incredible way to get a fantastic finish on any job. Prior to application, simply cut the nozzle of the tube to your desired size using a sharp knife, like a Stanley blade. The size of the hole you cut determines the size of your bead. Therefore, if you're looking to achieve a small bead of sealant, you will need to cautiously cut a small amount of the nozzle off. If you're going for a larger bead then cut further down the nozzle as this will make for a larger bead as more product can come out. Once you have cut the nozzle, simply load the prepared catridge into your caulking gun, squeeze down on the trigger and begin applying CT1 as needed. Once applied to your desired area, use a wet finger to press the sealant into the groove and clean up with a damp cloth. Then simply leave CT1 sealant to cure. As easy as 1,2,3!

How long does it take to cure?
Depending on the thickness of C-Tec CT1 Adhesive and Sealant applied the full cure time can be between 12hr to 72hrs.
what is the shelf life of CT1 in a shed?
The Shelf Life of C-Tec CT1 Adhesive and Sealant 290ml is 18 Months.

How many windows and doors are there in the area you want to paint?

This is based on a coverage of 10m² per litre of paint and one coat of paint.

Make sure you always check the coverage on the product page before purchasing and, if covering a dark or bright colour, you may need two or three coats.
