The Paint Shed recommends

The signature Farrow and Ball finish. A chalky matt emulsion perfect for low-traffic areas of the home and great at hiding imperfections.

Estate Emulsion is the Farrow and Ball signature finish for interior walls and ceilings. Its distinctive chalky matt finish minimises imperfections and scatters light to fully express the depth of their colours. The flat, velvety effect it creates even brings added richness to darker colours. Thanks to its water-based formula, Estate Emulsion is a low VOC paint with very little odour.

Applying Farrow and Ball Estate Emulsion

For best results, apply 1 coat of Farrow and Ball Wall and Ceiling Primer before applying 2 full coats using a brush, roller or airless spray to a clean, dry surface. Estate Emulsion is very easy to apply thanks to its well-balanced formula and smooth texture. it is fast drying, touch dry in just 2 hours and ready for a second coat after 4 hours.

what paint is best for landing and stairs please looking for somethink nice can you recommend any i have samples of elephants breath, peignoir i have not tried them yet but would iove some advise

We recommend a durable emulsion for hallways as this tends to be a high-traffic area of the home and is subject to more wear and tear than other rooms like bedrooms or dining rooms. If you're looking for a matt Farrow and Ball emulsion, we would suggest the Farrow and Ball Modern Emulsion. It is washable, scuff-proof, and protected against mould, making it suitable for use in every room in the home, from busy hallways to moisture-prone kitchens and bathrooms, while offering the full range of Farrow and Ball colours in a beautiful matt finish. Thanks to its water-based formula, Modern Emulsion is a low VOC paint with very little odour.

Can I use emulsion on my radiator ? I have Parma grey on my wall and would like the small radiator to blend into wall or do you do Parma grey gloss ?

How many windows and doors are there in the area you want to paint?

This is based on a coverage of 10m² per litre of paint and one coat of paint.

Make sure you always check the coverage on the product page before purchasing and, if covering a dark or bright colour, you may need two or three coats.
