Macpherson Trade Eclipse Emulsion is a water-based matt emulsion designed for use on interior walls and ceilings. An affordable, trade quality interior paint with low odour and low VOC, it is a dependable choice for professionals and DIYers alike. Macpherson Trade Eclipse Emulsion has a high moisture permeability which means it can be applied to new plaster and render before it is fully dry.

Applying Macpherson Trade Eclipse Emulsion

For best results, apply 2 coats of Macpherson Trade Eclipse Emulsion using a brush, roller or spray to a clean, dry surface. If painting a new or porous surface, first apply a mist coat of Eclipse Emulsion thinned by 40% water before proceeding with 2 full coats.

Customer Questions
Ceilings or walls?
Macpherson Trade Eclipse Emulsion is suitable for interior walls and ceilings.
How long does emulsion paint keep for please. It's been stored in the garage. We think it's frost free. We've had it for 6 years.
If protected from frost and kept in a shaded, cool, dry place, the emulsion will keep for approx 5 years. If it appears lumpy or has an unusual smell, the paint is off and should be disposed of safely.
Does Macpherson Eclipse emulsion touch-up without 'flashing' or showing brush/roller marks?
We can't guarantee this won't happen, it depends on how long ago the original paint was applied, how it is applied as well as the lighting which is also the case for touching up with most paints.
Is this brilliant white or just white , the picture says brilliant white , the description says just white ?
The Macpherson Trade Eclipse Emulsion will come as Brilliant White.

How many windows and doors are there in the area you want to paint?

This is based on a coverage of 10m² per litre of paint and one coat of paint.

Make sure you always check the coverage on the product page before purchasing and, if covering a dark or bright colour, you may need two or three coats.
