Sadolin Woodfiller is a premium quality filler for use on softwoods or hardwoods. Sadolin Woodfiller provides excellent adhesion and is ideal for small repairs, minor surface defects and filling nail holes.
It is suitable for timber in interior and exterior situations and can be over coated with woodstains, varnishes, primers or opaque finishes.
Applying Sadolin Woodfiller
For best results use a plastic spatula, filling knive or similar to apply and leave slightly ‘proud’ of the surface to allow for subsequent sanding. Apply the filler carefully to ensure all air is displaced and good contact is made between the filler and the timber. Do not smear the filler around the area to be filled as this will affect the absorbency of the timber and may result in a poor visual appearance when subsequently stained or varnished. Consider using masking tape to protect surrounding areas if practical – remove whilst product is still workable.
