Armstead Trade Pliolite Based Masonry Paint is a solvent-based, professional-grade, durable smooth masonry paint. Based on Pliolite® Acrylated Rubber resins, it provides a long-lasting coating with strong adhesion and resistance to moisture and alkali attack. It is easy to apply and provides good coverage. Armstead Trade Pliolite® Based Masonry is much more tolerant to showery or cold weather during application than traditional water-based exterior masonry paints, and can be applied to exterior masonry surfaces at virtually any time of the year. It is also BBA certified to provide up to 15 years of protection.
Applying Armstead Trade Pliolite Based Masonry Paint
For best results apply 2 coats using a brush or roller to clean, dry surfaces. Allow new surfaces to dry out completely and remove all loose or defective paint or powdery residues by thorough brushing and scraping, using a stiff brush. Treat any areas affected by mould, lichens, algae and moss with Dulux Trade Weathershield Multi-Surface Fungicidal Wash. Make good minor defects or use a sand and cement mix for larger holes and cracks. For any surfaces that remain powdery, friable or chalky after thorough preparation should be sealed with Armstead Trade Stabilising Primer.
