Armstead Trade Quick Dry Satin is a high-quality, non-yellowing, durable, fast-drying, water-based mid-sheen finish that is suitable for use on interior wood and metal surfaces. Often used to paint skirting boards, interior doors and sills, this is a versatile satin paint that won't let you down.
Applying Armstead Trade Quick Dry Satin
Easy to apply with a brush or roller, this quick-drying satin is touch dry after 2-4 hours and is ready for a recoat after 4-6 hours. To get the best results from Armstead Trade Quick Dry Satin paint, lightly dampen both a synthetic brush and the surface before application to increase the flow.
Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from all dirt, grease, wax etc. Thoroughly rub down previously painted surfaces, using wet “Flatting’ methods where possible, then wipe off with a damp, lint-free cloth. If painting wood, treat knots with a suitable knotting solution and if painting new and bare wood apply one or two coats of Armstead Trade Quick Drying Wood Primer Undercoat first. Prime all bare metal with an appropriate Armstead Trade metal primer. For bare plaster and masonry surfaces apply a thinned coat of Armstead Trade Quick Dry Satin.
This is based on a coverage of 10m² per litre of paint and one coat of paint.
Make sure you always check the coverage on the product page before purchasing and, if covering a dark or bright colour, you may need two or three coats.
