Armstead Trade Wood Primer is a professional-grade, solvent-based wood primer with excellent adhesion properties providing an ideal surface for Armstead Trade Undercoat. Suitable for both
interior and exterior use, this is an easy-to-apply wood primer.

Applying Armstead Trade Wood Primer

For best results, apply using a brush only to a clean, dry surface. If priming a previously painted surface, rub down first using a 'wet flatting' method and wipe off with a damp, lint-free cloth. If there are knots in the wood, use a knotting solution and fill any gaps, cracks or holes. Once dry, follow with 1 coat of Armstead Trade Undercoat.

How many windows and doors are there in the area you want to paint?

This is based on a coverage of 10m² per litre of paint and one coat of paint.

Make sure you always check the coverage on the product page before purchasing and, if covering a dark or bright colour, you may need two or three coats.
