is this oil based, painting over old oli based floor,timber,
YCoo-Var Floor Paint is solvent based. Coo-Var recommend that previously painted surfaces should be cleaned, degreased and sanded to ensure an adequate "key" is produced. Remove all loose and flaking material and treat bare areas as new substrate and prepare accordingly.
Coovar Floor Paint, is it available in light grey? What do I use to prime bare concrete before applying this paint?
We recommend applying a thinned coat of Coo-Var Floor Paint first using white spirit. Thin by 10% and only apply when the new concrete surface is fully cured which is usually after 3 months.
Can it be used on wood?
Yes, The Coo-Var Floor Paint can be applied to wood.
