Dulux Trade Ultimate Woodstain is a high-performance, solvent-based exterior woodstain which produces a water-repellent satin finish. With unique wood protection technology from Dulux Trade, this durable woodstain is perfect for exterior joinery, sheds and fences. It protects surfaces from extreme weather for up to 10 years and is suitable for hardwoods and softwoods. Offering great coverage of up to 20m2/L, this versatile woodstain is easy to apply and produces a solid, opaque colour.

Applying Dulux Trade Ultimate Woodstain

For best results, apply 2-3 coats to a clean, dry surface. If the previous coating is flaking or peeling, remove this first and sand gently to create a key.

Yes, Dulux Trade Ultimate Woodstain is oil-based.
Looking for an oil-based woodstain for exterior wood, in a rich mahogany colour. Please advise.

We would recommend Sadolin Extra Durable Woodstain for exterior wood. It offers a tough, durable finish and is available in a range of colours including mahogany.
