Johnstone's Trade Flortred is a solvent-based, semi-gloss floor paint with added polyurethane to provide increased durability and make the finish more hardwearing. Flortred is resistant to mild chemicals, water, oil and grease in areas subject to light and medium levels of traffic, such as walkways and is suitable for exterior use to highlight walkways, car park bays and other markings, but it is not suitable for use on large external areas. It can be used to cover large areas indoors and is available in thousands of colours including colour matching to designer shades, RAL and BSC.

Recoatable after 16-24 hours under normal conditions, and fully cured in seven days, this is a truly dependable floor paint.

Applying Johnstone's Trade Flortred

For best results apply using a brush or roller to a clean, dry surface. Allow for good ventilation throughout and leave overnight before recoating, usually between 16-24 hours later.

Does floortred need 2 coats?
We would recommend two coats of Johnstone's Trade Flortred for best results.
Is Johnstone's Trade Flortred suitable for decking?

We wouldn't recommend Johnstone's Trade Flortred for outdoor use but we do have a wide range of decking stains available here with free next day delivery on all UK mainland orders over £50.

We have previously had an Johnstones Flortred AQUA colour, is this till available?

We can colour match or tint Johnstone's Trade Flortred to any colour of your choice here.
