The Paint Shed recommends

When a fast drying system is required, apply Dulux Trade Quick Dry Wood Primer Undercoat first.

Dulux Trade High Gloss is a solvent-based gloss paint suitable for both exterior and interior wood and metal surfaces. It provides a durable, high gloss finish and is perfect for doors, door frames, skirting boards, as well as heated surfaces such as radiators and hot water pipes. It provides good coverage of approximately 18 m²/L on sealed surfaces.

Applying Dulux Trade High Gloss

For best results apply 1 coat of Dulux Trade Undercoat before applying 2 full coats of High Gloss using a brush or roller. If painting a new surface and a quick drying time is required, prime with Dulux Trade Quick Drying Wood Primer Undercoat instead.

Customer Questions
I am looking for a bright yellow high gloss paint and can't find one
Dulux Trade High Gloss Tinted Colours can be mixed to any colour including BSC and RAL colours as well as colour matching if you've found a yellow you like in another paint or brand. If you're looking for a luminous yellow, try RAL 1026 or if it's a bright, traffic yellow try RAL 1023. You might also like RAL 1016 which is bright but not luminous.
I am quoting for a job to prep and paint outside window frames made up of putty, metal and wood frames. Please advise the best products to give a good finish in Cream gloss.

If the metal is galvanised, we would recommend priming first with Zinsser Bullseye 1-2-3 before applying Zinsser Allcoat Gloss which can be applied to wood, metal and concrete and more. If the metal isn't galvanised, prime first using Zinsser Coverstain.

Zinsser Allcoat Gloss is a highly durable and dependable topcoat that can be tinted to hundreds of colours including RAL, BSC and colour matching.

What colour of undercoat is best to use with RAL 6019 high gloss
We recommend a white undercoat before applying RAL 6019.
I am painting gloss on top of gloss And I need it to quick dry What is best I want buttermilk
The Dulux Trade High Gloss is touch dry within 4 to 6 hours and recoatable between 16 to 24 hours.

How many windows and doors are there in the area you want to paint?

This is based on a coverage of 10m² per litre of paint and one coat of paint.

Make sure you always check the coverage on the product page before purchasing and, if covering a dark or bright colour, you may need two or three coats.
