Customer Questions
Painting the exterior is it possible to get sample sizes. Hate to get this wrong.
No, The Johnstone's Trade Stormshield Pliolite Based Masonry Finish does not come in sample pots.
Can it be painted over with artist's oil paint?
yes, The Artist paint can be applied however we would always recommend a patch test first.
Being North facing, the gable-end of this four storey property is prone to a black mould type of staining. The whole building had K-rend done about five years ago. Can we paint 'Johnstone's Trade Stormshield Pliolite Based Masonry' on the the entire gable-end, to stop the black mould ?
We would recommend treating the mould and put a zinsser anti-mould on first. The Johnstone's Trade Stormshield Pliolite Based Masonry Finish does not stop mould but it has self cleaning properties

How many windows and doors are there in the area you want to paint?

This is based on a coverage of 10m² per litre of paint and one coat of paint.

Make sure you always check the coverage on the product page before purchasing and, if covering a dark or bright colour, you may need two or three coats.
