Johnstone's Trade Stormshield Flexible Satin is a premium quality microporous satin paint for exterior surfaces that offers high durability to protect surfaces like wood and concrete. Crack and flake resistant, this solvent-based satin is formulated to provide long-lasting protection to exterior woodwork and produces a more durable result than conventional satin finishes. Stormshield Flexible Satin will cover approximately 15-18 square metres per litre, depending on the nature and porosity of the surface, which should be clean, dry and free from loose and flaking material. This product is designed specifically for use in conjunction with Johnstone's Trade Stormshield Flexible Primer Undercoat.

Applying Johnstone's Trade Stormshield Flexible Satin

For best results, apply 1-2 coats of Stormshield Flexible Primer Undercoat before applying 2 top coats of Flexible Satin using a brush or roller to a clean dry surface. To achieve full coverage and protection, any previous coatings should be removed fully before applying.

How many windows and doors are there in the area you want to paint?

This is based on a coverage of 10m² per litre of paint and one coat of paint.

Make sure you always check the coverage on the product page before purchasing and, if covering a dark or bright colour, you may need two or three coats.
