Johnstone's Trade Eggshell is a trade-quality mid-sheen finish paint designed for use on interior wood and metal. It provides a smooth, even surface that can be washed and wiped clean without compromising the finish or colour and is resistant to condensation so is great for bathroom and kitchen trim.

Applying Johnstone's Trade Eggshell

For best results, apply a coat of Johnstone's Trade Universal Primer first before applying 2 coats of eggshell using a brush or roller. Leave 16-24 hours between each coat to fully dry.

Can oil based trade eggshell be sprayed with HVLP.
We don't recommend spraying any solvent-based paint for health and safety reasons. Applying solvent-based products using either a brush or roller.
Is this oil based or water based because in the information it says both?
Johnstone's Trade Eggshell is oil-based.
What is best to paint on mdf panelling? I currently have Johnstone's Trade Matt Pacific Pearl emulsion above and want to paint mdf panelling the same.

We recommend priming the mdf with Johnstone's Trade Joncryl before applying Johnstone's Trade Acrylic Durable Eggshell in Pacific Pearl.

Can you use tinted eggshell on walls
No, The Johnstone's Trade Eggshell is only recommend for use on interior wood and metal.
What level of Sheen is there on this paint?
Johnstone's Trade Eggshell Tinted Colours has a sheen level of approximately 15-30% based on 60degree metric gloss reading ranges.
