Johnstone's Trade Stormshield Stabilising Solution is a deep penetrating formula suitable for application to external masonry surfaces that are friable, chalky or highly porous. It works to create a surface that is suitable to be painted with water-based paints. Suitable for concrete, cement rendering, brick, stone, blockwork and pebble dash, it provides coverage or 6-8 square metres per litre, depending on the nature and porosity of the surface being stabilised, and can be recoated after 16-24 hours.
Applying Johnstone's Trade Stormshield Stabilising Solution
Stir well before use and apply liberally to small area initially to test the results. If a glossy film is created, thin it by 50% with white spirit and test another area. Only apply in full when a non-glossy finish is achieved in the test area.
