There's no need for a separate primer or undercoat, this tough eggshell finish is self-priming and can be applied to almost any surface.

Product Description

Paint and Paper Library Architects Eggshell is a high-performing water-based paint that can be applied to interior or exterior wood, metal, glass, tiles, furniture and radiators. It has a smooth finish with a sheen level between 10-20% which allows for high levels of durability on woodwork and metalwork without a glossy finish. The latest formula is also self-priming meaning quicker turnaround times without compromising on durability.

It's great in areas of high humidity including bathrooms and kitchens and can be washed and wiped clean without compromising the finish or colour.

Applying Paint and Paper Library Architects Eggshell

For best results, apply Paint and Paper Library Architects Eggshell using a brush, roller or spray. If spraying with a conventional sprayer thin by up to 40% with water or up to 20% if using an airless sprayer. No primer is required with this self-priming paint, just apply 2 coats to sound, previously painted surfaces or if painting bare or new surfaces, apply 3 coats and allow to fully cure for 7-10 days before washing, wiping or scrubbing the surface, for maximum durability.

While this multi-surface eggshell paint can be applied to tiles and glass, we don't recommend that it is used in shower cubicles. It can be used on splash backs, around baths, sinks etc. but not directly in a shower cubicle.
