There's no need for a separate primer or undercoat, this tough satinwood finish is self-priming.
Paint and Paper Library Architects Satinwood is a water-based satin finish paint ideal for use on interior or exterior joinery including skirting boards, doors, bannisters, kitchen cabinets, furniture and all other wooden trim. It can also be used on exterior woodwork including front doors and window frames. The latest formula is self-priming too which means quicker turnaround times and less faff on the job.
Applying Paint and Paper Library Architects Satinwood
Simply apply two coats to a clean, dry surface using a brush, roller or spray. If spraying with a conventional sprayer, thin by 40% with clean water and if using an airless sprayer, thin by 20%.
If painting new or bare surfaces, we recommend a third coat for maximum durability and if painting a previously paint surface which isn't sound and is cracked or deteriorated, one coat of Paint and Paper Library Architects ASP is advised before 2 tocoats of Satinwood.
