Bartoline All Purpose Wallpaper Adhesive 50% Extra Free

Bartoline All Purpose Wallpaper Adhesive is a traditional high-quality starch-based flake. Easy to mix in just 30 seconds, and ready to use in under 4 minutes, it spreads easily and has excellent slip properties for accurate positioning with long-lasting results.

Suitable for hanging all wallpaper types including woodchip, washables, vinyls and heavy embossed papers. Also suitable for applying polystyrene tiles, and for use as a size for sealing newly plastered walls prior to papering.

Preparation: Ensure surface is clean, dry and free from dust. Treat areas where there is a high risk of mould growth with a Fungicidal Wash. Size absorbent surfaces before use and allow to dry completely before papering.

Mixing: Add the correct volume of cold water to a clean bucket based on the mix ratio table on the packaging. Sprinkle the contents of the sachet into the water and stir briskly for 30 seconds to evenly mix. Leave to stand for 3 minutes then stir again thoroughly. The paste is now ready to use.

Pasting: Follow the wallpaper manufacturer’s instructions. Soak heavy and embossed paper until supple. Paste generously, particularly the edges, and do not overspread. Take care to avoid getting adhesive on the patterned side of the paper, removing any splashes with a damp sponge. When applying paste the wall wallpapers, apply paste directly onto the surface to be papered.
