What primer would you recommend with Scuff-X matt?

We would typically recommend the Benjamin Moore Insl-X Stix Primer as this is suitable to both interior and exterior surfaces, however we always advise to ensure the primer is suited to your surface prior to purchasing and painting.

What's the difference between Scuff X Matt and Eggshell?
The main difference between matt and eggshell paint is that matte provides more sheen than a flat finish, and provides very little reflection. This finish is perfect for living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms. Whereas eggshell offers a slight sheen with an elegant appearance which is forgiving for wall imperfections.
Is Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec Scuff-X Matt washable?
Yes. Scuff-X is washable, it also includes a proprietary scuff-resistant formula which allows you to benefit from superior durability and pristine condition, which will minimise overall maintenance.
Which type of scuff x should I use for skirting board

We recommend Scuff X Satin for Woodwork.

Can you not use Matte on woodwork, I don't want a sheen at all?
Yes, The Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec Scuff X Matt can be used on woodwork. This paint has a sheen level of between 3-10%
Is it necessary to prime a wall that’s been painted with matte emulsion before painting over it with this?
No, The Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec Scuff X Matt should not need a primer however for bare areas you may need to spot prime these areas.
