Johnstone’s Covaplus is typically seen as something you’d use on interior walls and ceilings, but it is surprisingly adaptable. Thanks in large part to the improved formulation, you can use this paint on plaster, concrete, and brickwork in an interior setting. This paint will give you around 12-14sqm per litre when used inside the home. As it is a water-based matt paint, it will be touch dry within an hour. If the room is well ventilated, recoat time can be as quick as an hour, although we recommend giving it two hours to be on the safe side.
One trick up the sleeve of Johnstone’s Covaplus Matt Brilliant White concerns cracks and notches in walls. If you have some shallow scratches, you should see the paint cover over them when the second coat is applied, as it is great at hiding imperfections. For deeper cracks on walls and interior surfaces, we recommend applying some filler or caulk first.
