Customer Questions
Is Dulux Trade Satinwood Tinted Colours washable
Yes Dulux Trade Satinwood can be wiped and washed clean without damaging the colour or finish thanks to its durable, solvent based formula.
Can I use satinwood outside
No, we don't recommend Satinwood for use outside as this is an interior wood paint. We offer a wide range of exterior wood paints online here that would be suitable instead.
Could Dulux Trade Satinwood be used for kitchen cupboards? Is it waterproof?

You could use Dulux Trade Satinwood for kitchen cupboards but we would recommend an acrylic eggshell Johnstone's Trade Durable Acrylic Eggshell as it is a more durable paint that can be washed, wiped and scrubbed clean without damaging the finish and resists the moisture of a kitchen environment.

Can satinwood be used on interior doors?
Yes, Satinwood can be used on interior wooden doors, trim and skirtings.
Can Dulux Satinwood be used on radiators?

Yes, The Dulux Trade Satinwood can be used on a radiator however you would need a Primer.

Is it oil based
yes, The Dulux Trade Satinwood is Oil Based.
Is dulux satinwood suitable for furniture
We would not recommend applying the Dulux Trade Satinwood.
Please can you tell me what the sheen rating is for this paint?
Dulux Trade Satinwood sheen level is approximately 40%
Is this paint suitable for painting floorboards?

Dulux Trade Satinwood can be used on the floor boards however this is not designed to be walked on and does not contain any anti slip properties. You can use Johnstones Flortred which is an oil based floor paint or you can use Farrow & Ball Modern Eggshell which is also suitable for interior floors or stairs, However F&B do advise that you use the F&B Floor Primer and Undercoat
