Dulux Trade Satinwood is a solvent-based trim paint that is suitable for use on interior metal and wood surfaces, where a tough and resistant finish is needed. It doesn’t require an undercoat unless a strong colour change is required and is easy to apply.

Perfect for skirting boards, interior doors and sills, this durable satinwood paint will withstand wear and tear easily. 

Available in hundreds of colours including RAL, BSC and colour matching.

Applying Dulux Trade Satinwood

For best result apply 2 coats using a brush or roller to a clean, dry surface. Approximate coverage is 17 m2/L.

Is Dulux Trade Satinwood Tinted Colours washable
Yes Dulux Trade Satinwood can be wiped and washed clean without damaging the colour or finish thanks to its durable, solvent based formula.
Can I use satinwood outside
No, we don't recommend Satinwood for use outside as this is an interior wood paint. We offer a wide range of exterior wood paints online here that would be suitable instead.
Could Dulux Trade Satinwood be used for kitchen cupboards? Is it waterproof?

You could use Dulux Trade Satinwood for kitchen cupboards but we would recommend an acrylic eggshell Johnstone's Trade Durable Acrylic Eggshell as it is a more durable paint that can be washed, wiped and scrubbed clean without damaging the finish and resists the moisture of a kitchen environment.

Can satinwood be used on interior doors?
Yes, Satinwood can be used on interior wooden doors, trim and skirtings.
Can Dulux Satinwood be used on radiators?

Yes, The Dulux Trade Satinwood can be used on a radiator however you would need a Primer.

This is based on a coverage of 10m² per litre of paint and one coat of paint.
