    For best results, apply 1 coat to a clean, dry surface using a brush roller or airless spray before applying 2 full coats of your chosen Farrow and Ball top coat. Available in four tones to suit your chosen Farrow and Ball colour.

    Do I need to use an undercoat before using the eggshell paint?
    yes, It is recommended that you use an undercoat for certain surfaces.
    Is this suitable, straight onto i new plaster
    The Farrow And Ball Wall and Ceiling Primer and Undercoat would require a mist coat of your chosen colour diluted by 20% water, followed by 2 neat coats ideally for new plaster.
    Can I use this primer on Dulux Silk before apply F and B Modern Emulsion.
    Yes, The Farrow And Ball Wall and Ceiling Primer and Undercoat can be applied however we would recommend keying the surface first.
    Which Farrow and Ball primer is best for MDF panels

    The Farrow and Ball Wood Primer and Undercoat is best for MDF Surfaces.

    If I use this in a 'silk' c iling, can I then use f&b casein distemper over it?
    We would advise sanding the ceiling before applying the F&B Wall and Ceiling Primer as this may not adhere properly, once this has been prepared properly then you should be able to apply your top coat.
