Can I apply Johnstones Joncryl water based primer/undercoat before using Aqua Guard Water Based Satin? Both products are to be used over oil-based paint. Thank you for your help and advice

If you are looking to use Aqua Guard Water-Based Satin over an existing oil-based coating we recommend sanding back the oil-based paint fully before applying Aqua Water-Based Undercoat and following with the Aqua Guard Water-Based Satin.

My doors are already painted with water based satin (white. Good condition). I’m going to be spraying over the top with the Aqua Guard in black. Is this paint ok to water down ? And I’m guessing I won’t require an undercoat?
Johnstone's Trade Aqua Guard Water-Based Satin should only be applied using a brush or roller, we don't recommend spraying this product. An undercoat shouldn't be required in this scenario, just sand gently to create a key before applying.
How much paint will I need of Johnstone's Trade Aqua Guard Water Based Satin if I am painting 14 panels of interior doors, front and back, 2 coats per door?
