Green Nursery Paint Colours
If you're creating a gender-neutral nursery and want to add a bit of colour, we recommend using a gender-neutral green. Green is a calming shade that ranges from the richer tones of fresh sage leaves to the lighter, airy tones of aquamarines and pastels. We know how tricky it is to find the perfect colour so we've curated some of the most popular green paint colours for gender-neutral nurseries below to help you find 'the one'.Â
We stock paints from all the top trade paint brands that can be colour-matched to any of the colours you see below or elsewhere, as well as the designer ranges themselves such as Little Greene, Farrow and Ball, Dulux Heritage and Craig and Rose.

Creating a Green Nursery Colour Scheme
If you are looking for a green paint colour scheme throughout a gender-neutral nursery or children's room, you should start by buying some sample pots in your favourite shades of green. It's always good to try a colour at home in the space you intend to use it, to see how it looks in different lights throughout the day.
You might want to consider painting your woodwork the same colour as the walls, often seen in period properties or painting them a lighter green or darker green as a nice contrast.Â
Don't forget the ceiling. Leaving it bright white can throw the whole scheme off so try a lighter shade here or wrap the colour from the walls over the ceiling too for a harmonious finish.
