Looks and feels like a traditional oil-based satin but with all the benefits of water-based, low odour, low VOC and faster drying time.
Johnstone's Trade Aqua Water Based Satin is an innovative finish that's suitable for use on interior and exterior wood and metal. It applies like a traditional solvent-based gloss but dries with a look and feel more like a traditional satin finish.
It is low VOC thanks to its water-based formula which also makes it quick drying and low odour, with a tough and durable finish that's at its best when used over Johnstone's Trade Aqua Water Based Undercoat. Also available in Brilliant White, it covers around 10-12 square metres per litre, depending on the nature and porosity of the painted surface, and will be recoatable in normal conditions in under six hours.
Applying Johnstone's Trade Aqua Water-Based Satin
For best results, apply a coat of Johnstone's Trade Aqua Water Based Undercoat to a clean, dry surface before applying two coats of Aqua Water Based Satin using a brush, roller or spray.
