Johnstone's Trade Aqua Water Based Satin is an innovative finish that's suitable for use on interior and exterior wood and metal. It applies like a traditional solvent-based gloss but dries with a look and feel more like a traditional satin finish.
It is low VOC thanks to its water-based formula which also makes it quick drying and low odour, with a tough and durable finish that's at its best when used over Johnstone's Trade Aqua Water Based Undercoat. Available in thousands of colours it covers around 10-12 square metres per litre, depending on the nature and porosity of the painted surface, and will be recoatable in normal conditions in under six hours.
Applying Johnstone's Trade Aqua Water-Based Satin
For best results, apply a coat of Johnstone's Trade Aqua Water Based Undercoat to a clean, dry surface before applying two coats of Aqua Water Based Satin using a synthetic brush.
